Sweet Potatoes Baked Fries- So Healthy & Yummy!

One of the healthiest fries with minimal oil and herbs and spices


Sweet potatoes are enriched with vitamins A,C,D, Iron, calcium magnesium.. It good for eyes and for immune system.


So why not indulge in to fries when you can make it in a healthy way...


Ver simple and easy to make.


Preparation time: 15 mins

Cook time: 25-30 mins


Ingredients:

  • 2 Medium sweet potatoes

  • 2 tsp corn starch

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 paprika powder or chilli powder

  • 1 tsp salt



Direction:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F

  2. Cut the sweet potatoes in to thin fries about 1 cm each and then pour into cold water for about 5-10 mins to remove the starch from the sweet potatoes.

  3. Dry it with muslin cloth thoroughly

  4. Transfer into bowl and cover with oil, onion powder, corn starch, oregano, paprika and salt together and coat it evenly.

  5. Place the parchment paper into the baking tray and spread them apart with proper alignment, keep room between potatoes to make it crisper.

  6. Bake the fries in to the preheat oven for 20-25 mins flip on each side an the interval.

  7. Keep an eye so that it should not burn..

  8. Once done let it cool for 10-12 mins.


It ready your yummy fries...serve with some dip or sauce of your choice....
