Rice Paper- Chicken Sausage Roll | Vietnami Rice Paper Recipe

This super healthy and yummy recipe is from Vietnam cuisine and can be made in different variations as per your choice..

Full of flavour and topping you can modify as per your favourite veggies and meats.


Originally its been made of shrimps and veggies but since I don't have much liking for shrimps I tried it with chicken sausage..


You can use any meat, veggies or fish of your choice and make it easily at home to get a flavourful taste of Vietnam cuisine.


I used eggs and chicken sausage as a main ingredients and believe me its just tastes so irresistible..


So lets start with the recipe..


Ingredients For Dip:

  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander

  • 2 green chillies

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 whole lime juice

  • 1 medium size tomato

  • 1. tsp salt.


Instructions:

  • Blend for 1 min and add salt and refrigerate it..

  • You can store this up to 3-4 day in refrigerator.


Ingredients For Filling

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 red pepper ( Sliced)

  • 1 cucumber ( Sliced)

  • 3-4 leaves of lettuce

  • 5-6 baby carrots ( Sliced)

  • 2 chicken sausage (Sliced)

  • 2 stalks of green onions

  • 1 green chilli

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1- 1/2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp soya sauce

  • 2 cubes of cow cheese or cheddar cheese

  • 4 rice paper

  • Some warm water



Instructions:

  1. Cut red pepper, carrots, cucumber, lettuce and cheese and keep it aside.

  2. Heat the pan to medium flame and add 1 tbsp oil, green onion, green chilli and saute for 1 min. Then add chicken sausage 1/4 tsp salt, soya sauce, vinegar and saute for 1-2 mins and keep it aside.

  3. Now take a bowl crack eggs add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper and mix well.

  4. Heat the pan on medium flame and start adding eggs in 4 equal parts with the help of scoop spatula.

  5. Roll in eggs in the pan and touch from your finger if it doesn't stick to your finger then its ready...

  6. Make all 4 and keep it ready.

  7. Now take a Luke warm water and dip rice paper for 4-5 secs and place it on mat/cutting board.. I would recommend wooden cutting board as it becomes easy to wrap later.

  8. Now start filling the eggs, sausage and veggies topped with cheese and fold the sides first then from the bottom roll in till the end...

  9. Make all 4 as per your creativity and have with the dipping sauce and veggies.


Its Ready...
