Red Thai Salmon Fish Curry Without Thai Curry Paste

Have you ever thought of making thai curry without store bought thai curry red paste..
Well I did it when I thought of preservatives and other harmful things which can affect your health
And I also thought of doing this experiment because I didnt find any thai curry paste in grocery so I decided of doing this experiment and it worked well...
So let make it with minimal ingredients that super delicious thai curry...
Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 20-25 mins
Serving 2-3
Ingredients:
500 grams salmon fish fillet
400 ml coconut milk
3 tbsp olive oil
1 medium size onion (diced)
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp kashmiri lal mirch for bright color
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 whole lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 glass of water
Directions:
Wash and cut into cube size salmon fillets
Heat the pan add oil followed by onion fry till it gets translucent in color.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 1 mins.
Add fish and saute it for 1 mins in medium heat
Then add all spices and give a good mix...
Add coconut milk and lemon zest with lemon juice..
Finally add sugar and water and let it simmer for 2-3 mins
Garnish with fresh basil/ kafir or coriander leaves.
Its Done...
Serve hot with rice..
