Well lets start with the kick of cream cheese donuts!


Preparation time: 3 Hours

Cook time 10 mins:

Yeild: 8-10


Ingredients for Donuts :

  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  • Oil for frying donuts


For cream cheese filling:

  • 125 gram cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup crushed almonds

  • Powder sugar for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Take a bowl add all the filling ingredients and give a good mix and lastly add almonds and place it to a ice tray and freeze for 2-3 hours

  2. Take another bowl and add all the dry ingredients for donut lastly add egg and mix together.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour at least.

  4. Remove dough & cream cheese from the fridge, grease your palm with oil and take a small ball size dough and add cream cheese filling and cover and roll in to make a balls

  5. Heat the pan to 325 F and start frying till you see light brown in color.

  6. Remove from pan and place it to serving tray and sprinkle some icing sugar on the top...
