Nutty Chocolate Eclairs | Dark Chocolate Eclairs

Enriched with the goodness of dark chocolate... its must ry recipe for all chocolate lovers..

I love nutty flavour so I used hazelnut chocolate in this recipe however you are open to use any chocolate of your choice and garnish with any nuts of your choice totally optional.

This recipe is yum and tasty except the shape of the eclairs! well I am learning to make it perfect and you get to see soon on my blog with the perfect one...

Sp lets start with this treat...

Preparation time: 15 mins

Cook time: 30 mins

Yeild: 10-12 eclairs


  • 1/4 water

  • 1/4 cup unsalted melted butter

  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour

  • 3 eggs room temperature

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For Chocolate ganache:

  • 1 chocolate bar 100 grams

  • 1/4 cup full fat milk

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter


  1. Heat the pan and add water, butter, sugar mix evenly.. do not boil...and switch of the flame once combined together.

  2. Add flour and mix thoroughly...

  3. Now add egg one by one and mix evenly to form a nice and smooth batter.

  4. Take start nozzle shape pipping bag and fill the batter.

  5. Take baking tray with baking sheet and start making eclairs by pouring batter like a straight line.

  6. Take little water and adjust the tip so that it should not burn..

  7. Preheat the oven to 400 F and bake for 25 to 30 mins till you see light golden in color.

  8. For filling with chocolate ganache.. take a pan and heat full fat milk with butter for 1 min and add it to chopped chocolate.

  9. Leave the chocolate and milk for 3-4 mins..

  10. Mix evenly and its ready to be filled in you eclairs.

  11. Now remove eclairs from the oven and poke 2 holes for filling...

  12. Start pouring chocolate and then dip on to. the ganache.

  13. Lastly add some crushed almonds on the top for garnish..


Its Ready...

Note : Do not fill the chocolate and keep for later servings as it will get soggy because of the moisture from the fillings inside the eclairs.

Filling should be around 25-30 mins prior to your serving...and then freeze it till the time its not served...
