One of the best creation with minced chicken and cheesy flavour of rolls. Freshly baked in your chicken brings out to be the best dinner option.
Simple and easy recipe and not much of tedious process I made it little simpler version for you to avoid the hard work after the hectic schedule at work... with the yummy taste intact.
This recipe is needed your love and patience and it will reward you with the best taste.
One can use different variation as per their need like instead of all purpose flour you can use whole wheat or instead of parsley you can use coriander.
Same way instead of raw chicken you can boil and add in to the recipe as directed in the below method.
So you can twist the way you like and last you can use of any cheese available at your home its totally your taste need.
So lets start with the recipe...
Ingredients For Dough
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 warm milk
1 large egg
1/4 cup unsalted butter
Mix every thing together and knead it for 3-4 mins and form and nice dough, cover and keep for proofing for 1.30- 2 hour
Ingredients For Chicken Filling:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 carrot (grated)
1 spring onion (chopped)
1 onion ( chopped)
2 tsp chicken masala
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup parsley/coriander
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp ginger (chopped)
1 tbsp garlic (chopped)
250 grm raw chicken thighs/breast (washed)
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar cheese)
Heat the pan and add oil, add onion and south for 1-2 mins then add spring onion , carrot, ginger garlic and saute for another 1-2 mins till it gets translucent in color.
Add all the spices and saute again for 1-2 mins and then remove all the veggies in one plate and keep it aside.
Add 1 tbsp oil and add chicken and saute for 2-3 mins till its cooked well add salt and chicken masala 1 tsp
Now add the veggies and add into the chicken and mash it with spatula and cook for 1-2 mins.
Switch of the flame and add parsley and keep it aside for filling.
For Roll Filling
Divide the dough into 8 equal portion and start filling it the chicken topped with some cheese and roll in the shape you like. You can use your creativity and design the way you like..
Place the baking sheet on the baking tray and start keeping the roll next to each other. keep room to enlarge the roll in to the baking tray since final proofing will take place there.. so keep space in between each roll.
Cover and keep it aside for min 1/2hour to max 1hour.
Pre heat the oven to 375 F for 25 mins.
