I tried both ways of making it but I like the toasted version where in you can skip the baking part and make it the gooey version both taste good...
Its a very good snack option this fall since its warm for your body and helps you to maintain your weight...
So let dive into making the energy bars...
Preparation time: 5 mins
1 cup raw almonds
1/2 shredded coconut
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp honey
1 1/2 cocoa/cacao powder
3 tbsp ghee/ coconut oil/ unsalted butter
In the food processor mix all the ingredients except cocoa powder, 1 tbsp honey and butter..
Grind finely and transfer into baking sheet and bake at pre-heated oven at 350 F for 5 mins.
Pour the mixture in to the mixing bowl and add the remaining ingredients and transfer to baking tray and freeze for 1/2- 1 hour..
Remove from the tray and cut into bar size pieces and enjoy...
Storage: You can keep refrigerated for months time...
But I am sure you will finish in a week time...;-)
